For over 10 years, Shannon has practiced and studied the science and philosophy of yoga, keeping the practice alive in its living and breathing form. Lifelong spinal distortions and muscular skeletal pain led her to dive deeper into yoga when in 2015, she became a Certified Yoga Instructor from the Kula Yoga School in Jacksonville, FL. This 200-hour teacher training was primarily learning Ashtanga yoga, an old, traditional practice that is based off the premises of breath/movement union in which brings balance to the physical vessel, and aligns ones body, mind and spirit. Giving assists to students during a yoga class is a great portion of the teacher's role, and this helped her to understand anatomy of the human body in a very visceral and hands-on way.
Shannon graduated from The Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy with 600 classroom hours in November of 2024 and soon thereafter, became a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Florida. So far, she has taken CE courses in both Thai Massage and Cupping Therapy. Her primary specialty is injury-recovery and pain-management. During an integrative bodywork session with Shannon, you can expect to be exposed to a multitude of diverse modalities depending on the client's goals. Modalities range from Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Passive Stretching, Thai Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping and Swedish Techniques.
Shannon is incredibly passionate about helping others on this path of healing and puts complete presence into every single one of her clients, reading each persons body with subtle awareness. The goal is to serve humanity and provide quality, accessible bodywork to her community as a Mobile Massage Therapist of the Treasure Coast.
